With the Summer ‘21 season officially concluded, it’s time to announce our team award winners. See below for descriptions of each award and to see the winners!

BIGGEST COCK: No, it's not what you think it is. This award goes to the player with the most penalty minutes at season's end. Rylie Regnier takes home the award in back-to-back seasons after averaging 2.29 PIM per game.

TOP DEFENCEMAN: This award goes to the player on the team who contributed best on the defensive end over the course of the season. This one was a close one in the voting, but with a slight edge, Dakota Karsten-McEwen takes home the award this season.

TOP FORWARD: This award goes to the player who best contributes to the team offensively throughout the season. This season the award goes to Brayden Betke who tallied the most points on the team in the regular season and contributed heavily in the playoffs as well.

TOP TWO-WAY PLAYER: This award goes to the player who excelled at both ends of the ice on a nightly basis, from getting points to breaking up plays in the defensive end. Harrison Hope takes home the award this season after some outstanding play on both ends of the ice, including the GWG that sent us to the finals.

LEADING SCORER: This award goes out to the player who led the team in points at season's end. Brayden Betke takes home this award after edging out John Contreras by 3 points.

TOP ROOKIE: This award goes to the player who excelled in their rookie season with the Roosters or in the league in general. Tyler Thibault was the unanimous choice for this award after an impressive rookie campaign on defence, as well as on offence.

MOST IMPROVED PLAYER: This award goes to the player who improved the most from the previous season they played to the current season or improved the most from the first game of the season to the last game. Tyler Thibault also takes home this award after finishing the season on a tear in his rookie season.

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: This award goes out to the player who is considered to be the best on the team during the entire season, based upon Player of the Game awards, team voting, and overall statistics. Brandon Eshelby takes home the MVP award this season after a great regular season where he had games stopping nearly 60 shots in a 3-2 loss, to the playoffs where he was an absolute brick wall in all 4 games and posting some of the best playoff statistics in the league.
