MARCH 24TH, 2022: The 2021-22 regular season has officially come to a close with the Roosters awaiting to see who will be the sixth seed and opponent for round one which begins on March 29th.

The regular season was certainly a fun one with both familiar faces and quite a few new ones, and the Roosters are ready to go out there and win it all this time around! Before the playoffs start, here is just a little recap of the 2021-22 regular season:

- The Roosters came out hot, starting the season on a franchise-best five game winning streak, which also saw Eshelby post the first shutout in franchise history as well

- After the hot start to the season, the Roosters got promoted to D2B where the mid point of the season was a lot of back-and-forth with winning and losing games

- After Eshelby went down with a concussion, the Roosters final eight games of the regular season saw the team win five, tie two, and lose only one with over thirteen different goal scorers and thirty six goals for in that stretch

- New addition to the team Lyndon Domotor led the way in scoring with 24 goals and 23 assists for 47 points in 22 games, while fellow newcomer Josh Bobowski tallied 16 goals and 14 assists for 30 points in 25 games

- Last season's leading scorer, Brayden Betke, led the team in assists with 24 and tallied 46 points in 27 games

- Dakota Karsten-McEwen led all Roosters defencemen with 7 goals and 19 points in 25 games played, while Tyler Thibault led all Roosters defencemen in assists with 13 and played in the most games this season with 29

- Brandon Eshelby played in all but 2 games this season due to injury, and finished the year with his best numbers in a Rooster uniform and ASHL career with a 3.87 GAA and .867 SV% to go along with 2 assists and a shutout
