SEPTEMBER 1ST, 2022: The Saskatoon Roosters Hockey Club is proud to reveal our team leadership group for the upcoming 2022-23 season of ASHL hockey, which kicks off September 18th.

After team voting, last season's regular season MVP and franchise leader in points and assists, Brayden Betke, has been named team captain for the upcoming season. Betke has always been a sportsmanlike player both on and off the ice, which combined with his point-getting capabilities, made him a top choice for the "C".

Alternate captains for the season are forwards Ty Steffen and Lyndon Domotor. Steffen, who has played in all but one season with the team due to an injury, plays hard both ways whether he has dressed up as a defenceman or as a forward and always finds a way to contribute. Domotor, last season's leading goal and point scorer, always found a unique way to get the puck in the back of the net, no matter who he played with or against.

SEPTEMBER 1ST, 2022: The Saskatoon Roosters Hockey Club is proud to reveal our roster, presented by Fantom Hockey and the Canadian Brewhouse - West Saskatoon, for the upcoming 2022-23 season of ASHL hockey, which kicks off September 18th.

With a total of fourteen returning players for the beginning of the season, the roster looks very similar to last season, minus some absences. Notably absent for the upcoming season is the franchise leader in goals, John Contreras, defenceman Colby Crawford, and forwards Justin Gibson and Harrison Hope. Newcomer's in Derek Shawchuk, Dayton Betke and Austin Sloan will be filling up some of those much needed roster spots and all will be hoping to make a huge impact this season.

While not being able to fully commit this season, many players have been added to our reserve roster to fill in when needed which is a huge help after being short-benched a great deal last season.

The boys are hyped, and cannot wait to start the #RoostersRevengeTour!
